Issues:

Cloud Ops processes not well defined – No tagging of Infrastructure to departments/ products, hence no Ownership and hence many orphan Infra resources found, No shutdown of infra when not in use Higher capacity provisioned and usage was hardly 25% Very less usage on-demand / serverless services

Solution:

Defined a 6 months program System Study / Document issues Implement carried out in phases with specific focus areas to address all the above issues. Delivered annualized savings of $1M to customers by delivering a multi-phased approach to Infra standardization
